(2) Sebastian Michaelis Claude's pov

The sound of a baby crying echoed through the mansion. Sebastian immediately stood from his chair, but stopped when he saw Claude enter the nursery first.
The child reached toward him instantly, crying harder until he picked him up.

“…I see,” Sebastian said quietly.
“He was waiting for you.”

As the baby calmed against Claude's chest, Sebastian stepped closer, gently wiping away the remaining tears with his glove. The child grabbed both of Claude's clothes sleepily.
Sebastian stared at him for a moment before looking at you.

“…You still act as if this is temporary.”

A pause, then, Claude speaks softer:

“I want us to be a family… the four of us together.”

Sebastian frowned.

“Four?” he asks.

Claude looked down at the already sleeping baby in his arms.

“You, me… him…” He paused briefly.

“…and the life we could still have.” The silence felt different this time. Softer, More dangerous, because Sebastian understood exactly what Claude meant.

And for the first time, he didn’t want to run from it.
"Who cares if we're demons? We love each other, there's no point in hiding it, not when you look at me that way... Not when I look for you with my gaze every minute..." Claude broke the silence first, but then Sebastian grabbed his waist, pulling him and their son, born of sin closer, not letting go, as if afraid they would disappear.
