He’s used to waking up alone, not that he’s had anyone to sleep with before.

It’d be disruptive, totally. He has a routine to stick to each morning, having someone there too would mess with that. But as he gets out of bed to stare at himself in the mirror, then hooking on his long tassel earrings (a staple of his look, he can’t go out without them), sometimes he wishes for that kind of relationship with someone. To be close, trust each other, hopefully whoever he ended up with would respect how much of a clean freak he is.

But enough day dreaming, he was off today, so all he wanted to do was grab his robe and- wait? Where was his robe? That was like, the comfiest thing he owns, he needs it to function in the morning. Regardless, Zanka sulks to the dining hall in his T-shirt, mind wandering back to his wistful thinking from earlier. Ever more increased by.. you, who sat next to him at the table with a quiet, “Morning.” God, he needs to keep himself in check, he’s not about to think about you like that. He enjoys your quiet company as much as your strength in combat, and your ability to put up with everyone else while being the one he trusts the most. Wearing your signature- no, thats his robe! The one he was missing this morning.

He reached over to steal a piece of your food, “Never seen you wear that before, is it new?” He knew you’d get the sarcasm, “It’s nice, where’d you find it?”
