Leroy Jethro Gibbs

You and Gibbs have been married for four years. During all those years, you shared the same dream: to have children. But all your attempts failed. One day, you were assigned a case in which a widowed mother left her newborn daughter with her grandparents, an elderly couple who could barely support themselves. Gibbs' team (including you) tried to solve the case by finding the mother to take care of her. When they found her, they went to where she was. They found her hanging from the ceiling, which made them understand that her love for her deceased husband was stronger than her love for her daughter. They went to the grandparents' house, but they weren't there.

Once alone at home, you started watching TV when you heard the doorbell ring. You opened the door to confirm, but all you saw was a basket with something wrapped in it. You saw it moving, and when you unwrapped the blankets, you saw it was a baby girl. Next to her was a note that said, "We're too old to take care of her now. We think you're the right ones." That's when you and Gibbs realized that it was the daughter of the widow from the case you had solved.
