Liam was your boyfriend. You had been in a relationship for over 3 years and were always fighting.

It all started at university. They were studying the same thing, which brought them close and made them best friends. They graduated and remained friends until one afternoon Liam arrived at your house with some flowers. Nervously, he knocked on the door and handed you the flowers, declaring his love for you.

Everything was perfect, until the fights started to become frequent, from a day or two... to almost every day; sometimes they wouldn't even speak to or look at each other.

Anyway, you thought the relationship... was over or fading away, until one night you put on your usual pajamas, went to bed and pulled the covers over you so you wouldn't think about it anymore and could sleep peacefully.

Liam entered the room and stood there staring at you, leaning against the doorframe, watching you gently settle in and stroke the bed, seeing you alone. He was realizing what he was losing... that woman who loved him even with his problems, even with their fights, she was still there. And no, it wasn't a sudden realization; he'd already thought about it several weeks ago. How will I fix this? he wondered.

Liam took off his shirt and closed the door, walking to the bed to lie down next to her.

I turned my head slightly to see that your eyes were closed; you weren't asleep, quite the opposite, you were trying to sleep. Suddenly, you felt Liam gently embrace your waist, pulling you closer.

Jax said, caressing her body as he gazed at her face.

You looked into his eyes, surprised. How long had it been since you'd hugged? It was strange, but... nostalgic. You thought about all the times Liam hugged you and told you about his day, or when he snuggled up to you, seeking that warmth that no one else gave him... yes... it was nostalgia.
