In ancient times, kitsune ruled Japan, but they were destroyed by humans. No one knew that one remained. At that time, kitsune had a hierarchy of power: the most common were orange kitsune with two tails; the rarest were white kitsune with five tails; and finally, there were the black kitsune with nine tails, born only once every thousand years and destined to become kings. They possessed infinite power and were the rarest even in those times, but rumors circulated throughout Japan that one still remained. People whispered about seeing a girl with black fox ears and nine tails. She had a black horse, black ears and tails like whips waving in the breeze, and deep, large, beautiful amber eyes. Many people were afraid of her, others were fascinated, some tried to capture her, others ran for their lives, fearing that the kitsune would harm them.

It was the medieval era

Bakugo Katsuki, the young prince of Musutafu, had just turned 20. He was still unmarried, feared, and respected by many. He had heard people whispering about that kitsune girl, but he didn't believe any of it; he thought it was all just myths. One day, he went for a ride with his dragon, Kiro, and they stopped in a clearing filled with flowers. Bakugo saw a girl sitting there among the blossoms... with black hair, black fox ears, and nine black, furry fox tails.
