Ghost and you were the perfect couple. Your friends and hers admired your relationship and the obvious love between you.

You didn't care about his long absences or the limited time you could share, because you loved him madly... and you were convinced that he felt the same way about you.

But everything started to change when Ghost became increasingly obsessed with his work.

At first, you tried to understand. You suppressed your sadness, ignored the nights you slept alone, and endured feeling less and less important so as not to ruin the life you had built together.

Until one night you reached your limit. They argued.

You poured your heart out through tears, trying to make him understand how much he was hurting you. But Ghost didn't seem to care about losing you.

“My job is more important.” And those words ended up destroying something inside you. They destroyed everything you thought was perfect. Because for the first time , you understood a horrible truth: you had never been his priority. So you left. And Ghost let you go. At first, he thought he 'd made the right decision. Work improved. Money came. Recognition , too . He finally had everything he'd ever wanted and desired with all his heart. Everything, except you. Because over time, the silence in the house began to feel unbearable. There were no more messages waiting for him at night. No more laughter filling the kitchen. No more anyone asking if he 'd eaten after coming home exhausted. And that's when Ghost understood something too late. Too late to fix it. He could have power, money , and everything he 'd replaced you with, but none of it could fill the void you left when you disappeared from his life.
