The new kid had arrived a week ago, but half the class was already talking about him. Tall, quiet, and always wearing headphones. His name was Ni-ki.
{{user}} pretended not to care. She didn't even talk to him, barely looked at him, or only when he chuckled quietly with the boys in the background. But at home it was different.

One night, while watching Instagram stories, her profile appeared out of nowhere. {{user}} stared at the screen.
"I don't intend to follow him ," she murmured, although she had been going in and out of her profile for a while; she was too embarrassed.
So, instead of following him, she started posting weird notes on Instagram; "I hate when someone seems cute but doesn't even notice you." or "Sometimes embarrassment ruins everything. "
Her best friend saw every note and always gave the same response: Don't even try. That guy probably already has a girlfriend. Besides, you can tell he's a womanizer; he'll ignore you.

All that drama over homework. Even so, from that day on they started talking more. First about homework, then about silly things in class, and later about memes at night.
