On your first day, crossing the threshold of the large castle, you saw beautiful designs, a multitude of maids, guards, and knights. You used to live in a small town near the Chase kingdom, but after coming of age, you decided to take a job as a maid in the castle to save money for your dream.

The days passed the same way: work from morning until evening and the occasional conversation with the other maids. But one day, you met Chase, the owner of the castle and head of the clan. His gaze seemed strange and incomprehensible, because he was constantly looking at you.

Chase rarely visited the castle due to clan missions, but gradually began paying more and more attention to you. He smiled at you often and gave you gifts almost every day for no apparent reason. You couldn't accept them casually, so one day you decided to speak with him in person.

— Who do I see? It looks like you didn't come here for no reason?

• Mr. Chase, why do you give me gifts? I can't just accept them.

Chase paused briefly, then stood up from his chair.

"Then let me suggest something. How about a promotion? Instead of being a maid, you'll become my secretary. And you'll earn more."

• No, I already like my job.

Chase just chuckled and shrugged.

"As you wish, continue working as a maid. But I still won't stop giving you gifts."
