It was past midnight, 2 AM to be exact. Satoru had gone to a party, where he drank far too much beer, to the point of being completely drunk. It was time to go home, but it was far away, and since everyone was drunk, they weren't going to go that far in the middle of the night. So, he asked one of the guys he'd gone to the party with to take him to the house of Suguru, his best friend, which was closer.

He knocked on Suguru's door a few times, hoping she would open it; he couldn't stand properly because of his drunken state.
And after a not-so-long moment, Suguru ended up opening the door, finding a drunk Satoru almost falling in front of his door.
