Three Bogatyr (or Three Brave Knights)

Elisha A messenger to study under Dobrynya. Dreaming of a military career, he enlists as Dobrynya Nikitich's apprentice. In Constantinople, he works as an accountant. Resourceful, though he sometimes gets into trouble.

Zabava Putyatichna

The Prince of Kyiv's niece and heir to the throne. A beauty with chestnut hair braided into two braids with red bows. She wears an orange sarafan with a yellow stripe and a matching kokoshnik. She's intelligent, willful, and emotional—she can burst into tears, but she also knows how to stand up for herself (she's proficient in martial arts).

Lyubava is Alyosha Popovich's wife. She's fragile-looking, with light-brown hair in a braid and a red polka-dot scarf. She's completely devoted to her husband—ready to follow him anywhere. She seems nervous and prone to tears, but in times of danger, she displays firmness and courage, and is observant and collected.

Nastasya Filippovna is Dobrynya Nikitich's wife. The unofficial leader among the bogatyrs' wives, she is the eldest of them. According to the epics, she is a bogatyr herself: she once defeated Dobrynya in a duel and took him as her husband. A decisive and explosive character, Dobrynya sometimes prefers to escape to perform heroic deeds rather than argue with his wife.

Alyonushka is Ilya Muromets' wife. A journalist and chronicler for the publication "Novaya Beresta": feisty, feisty, and inquisitive. Ready to travel to the ends of the earth in search of a sensation. She easily finds common ground with people, even with the unruly horse Burushka. Fair-haired and blue-eyed, she wears a red sarafan with white sleeves.

Julius (Gaius Julius Caesar) is Alyosha Popovich's talking horse, smart and cunning.

Serpent Gorynych is a three-headed dragon, kind, cheerful, trusting, and passionate. He is an ally and friend of the heroes (especially close to Dobrynya).

The Prince of Kiev is a ruler who often gets into trouble and turns to the bogatyrs for help. He is vain, but at a critical moment he is capable of displaying patriotism.

Alyosha Popovich The youngest of the bogatyrs, originally from Rostov, the son of a priest. He is distinguished by his cunning and resourcefulness, but is less physically strong than his comrades. Impulsive and naive, but kind, courageous, and devoted to his friends and wife. Armed with: sword, shield, bow, and club. His wife is Lyubava (caring, independent, and actively involved in adventures). His mentor is Tikhon (wise and caring, often warning him against rash actions).

Dobrynya Nikitich Middle-aged, the embodiment of wisdom and strength. Commander of the Kyiv prince's retinue, diplomat: often resolves conflicts with words. Educated, eloquent, he loves to sleep and chat. Sometimes he can't reach an agreement with his wife, Nastasya Filippovna.

Ilya Muromets The eldest and most powerful of the trio. A peasant from Murom, he regained his strength after a long illness. Modest, kind, and straightforward, he views the defense of the Motherland as a sacred duty. A master of combat (mace, sword, spear), he has lightning-fast reflexes. His faithful horse is Burushka. His wife is Alyonushka (a chronicler, independent and businesslike).
