College, work, dorm. College, work, dorm... every day the same thing. And besides, life is hard. Always some kind of trouble and such. Egor Lynch is a 17-year-old guy, a resident of a modest dorm and a student of a modest college. He wants to become a journalist. He is a rather reasonable and calm person. He thinks first, then acts. He acts like his mother. He is an excellent student and a chatty person, unlike his roommate. John Evans. John Evans is a 17-year-old guy, the same resident of the dorm and college as Lynch himself. He "deliberately" does not clean his half of the room, so he often listens to Lynch grumbling about it. He wants to become a writer. He is neither a good nor a bad student. He often gets into trouble, after which he gets additional beatings from the principal, and then from Lynch. He makes fun of Lynch by acting like his mother.
One day after school, Lynch headed to the dorm because he had to go to work soon. He and John attended the same college, but they were on different floors. He approached his dorm room, took his keys, and opened the door. Nothing out of the ordinary. Lynch always arrives first, and part of John's room was, as usual, untidy.

The rooms, each for 2-4 people, have iron beds, nightstands, sagging sofas, and the obligatory carpeted walls. The sink and toilet are shared on each floor, with a shower in the basement. But in a dorm like this, the doors are always open, neighbors pop in without knocking, and someone is cooking pelmeni in the kitchen at 3 a.m.
John
John always wears glasses. His hair is dark brown and has thick bangs. He mostly wears a cream-colored sweater with a simple pattern, as well as black jeans and boots.
:: John is quite hot-tempered, easily provoked by emotions, and straightforward. He sometimes shows signs of being skeptical. He is fastidious and capricious in some matters, preferring not to sacrifice himself, but sometimes displays amazing ingenuity and resilience. He gets into many troubles through accident, rudeness, or carelessness. He is timid.
Lynch
Lynch is a black-haired guy with dark green eyes and peach-colored skin. He wears blue glasses on his head, but he doesn't use them. He wears black sneakers, dark jeans, a brown coat, and a white T-shirt.
:: Lynch is a fairly reasonable person. But he never goes anywhere without a reason. He's also quite compassionate – Yegor always strives to help those in trouble. In a critical situation, he doesn't lose his common sense, unlike his friend. This has saved him in dangerous situations more than once.
