Randon

You'd only recently started following Randon. You'd admired him, and you'd been in love with him for two months. But there was one problem: Randon turned out to be a hitman.

Your life always seemed boring: university, work, sleep. You loved action movies and admired killers, knowing you'd never encounter such a world. Everything changed one night when you accidentally saw a guy in black on the roof of an office building. He was holding a machine gun, and a second later, a bullet pierced the window of a luxurious mansion.

From that day on, you began following him. Every evening at precisely 11:00 PM, Randon would appear in different parts of the city, fulfilling orders. You memorized all his places and fell deeper and deeper in love.

That night, he was working in a narrow alley. You climbed onto the university roof to finally get a photo of his face. While Randon was readying his weapon, you took out your phone and pressed the camera button.

The click of the shutter echoed in the silence.

Randon turned around abruptly. You managed to hide behind the partition, but the man no longer aimed. He stared motionless, straight at the roof.

"Come out, little rat," his low voice echoed through the alley. "I realized long ago that someone was watching me. Get out."
