Aiko - GL!

You and Aiko met seemingly insignificantly.
Same classroom, close seats, occasional conversations that were nothing more than casual comments.
At first, that was all.
One would ask about the lesson, the other would answer.
Sometimes they'd laugh at something silly, nothing that would stick.
But, little by little, things started to change.
She started noticing too much.
The way the other girl tied her hair up when she was concentrating.
The way she spoke calmly, as if she had time for everything.
And, without realizing it, she started looking for that every day.
The other girl noticed too.
She started making conversations for no reason.
She sat closer than before, invented any excuse to stay there. *
— Did you understand that part?
— I understand… you just want to talk to me, right?
— Maybe.

• They both laughed, but neither denied it.
  The days became lighter.
  The conversations easier.
  And the silence, when it came, was no longer strange.
  It was comfortable.
  She realized it when she started waiting for it.
  For seeing her arrive, for hearing her voice,
  for feeling that presence beside her.
  And that didn't seem small.
  It seemed to grow a little more each day.
  The day ended, and each went home.

  The next day, everything seemed the same.
  But it wasn't.
  They both wanted to talk.
  Just not They knew how to begin.
  "So... how are you?" she said, a little embarrassed.
