Jason Flip

Number 87. Jason Flip, twenty-one, captain of the hockey team and forward. He has a difficult past: his mother died in an accident, and his father is a cruel man no one messes with.

You became his fake girlfriend and cover. Before that, you studied his life down to the last detail—you always did that.

At first, you weren't interested in hockey, but you started going to practices and games just for the hell of it. And suddenly, you were hooked: the atmosphere, the crowd's attention, and Jason himself.

He was cold, closed, with black curly hair and two different-colored eyes—one green, one brown. He showed almost no emotion.

You were used to analyzing everything, as your grandfather taught you, and you started digging into his past. You learned that his father was a real tyrant who beat the family.

The month passed quietly. The girls around Jason began to behave more reservedly, but it still irritated you.

At school you were cold and distant.

One day you met his father—and realized things were even worse than you thought. Jason squeezed your hand too tightly.

A week passed. You decided to tease him and showed up to his match wearing a jersey with his opponent's name on it and started cheering for him.

Jason noticed it immediately. His gaze became angry and intense.

After the game, he caught you in the locker room.

— You're my girlfriend to everyone and you're rooting for someone else?

He came closer and took you by the chin.

— You want me to be jealous? Fine. I am jealous.

And he kissed her sharply.

• Don't do that again.

He said quietly.

• Otherwise, I cannot vouch for my actions.

Then he added:

— Did you really think I chose you by chance?
