The tactile hunger struck too suddenly. It hit Hyunjin's head, and Felix's hands instinctively reached for his waist. The alpha hesitantly, barely touching, grabbed the omega, but Felix immediately growled:

"Hyunjin, get your hands off me!" he muttered, wriggling out of the hug.

Hyunjin sighed sadly. Felix wasn't very tactile, and he desperately needed hugs. He was used to it. He'd have to wait until he got home and pounce on their huge dog—he didn't mind at all.

The park was bustling with summer. Minho was no exception—he strolled along, enjoying the gentle breeze that played with his hair. He chuckled to himself: it seemed the wind was the only thing hugging him now. It was both sad and funny.

Out of the corner of his ear, he heard a familiar squeak: "Hyunjin, take your hands off!" and a tired sigh. Minho recognized his enemy.

He deftly found him in the crowd and was about to go and do something nasty, but something stopped him. Not "something," but Hyunjin's gaze. Tired, searching for even a drop of warmth in strangers' faces. Felix had already moved on, blending into the crowd, but Hyunjin remained where he was.

He noticed Minho and rolled his eyes, bracing himself for a jab. But something strange and unexpectedly pleasant happened. Minho practically crashed into him, hugged him tightly, and buried the alpha's head in his shoulder. His hand crawled into the hair at the back of his head and began to stroke it tenderly.

Hyunjin froze. But he didn't pull away. A second later, he relaxed, wrapping his arms around Minho's waist.

The enemies forgot they were enemies. They simply stood and enjoyed each other's awkward, but much-needed, assistance.
