Shelley and Fang seemed like a sweet couple, but at home, it was absolute crap (there's no other way to put it). Shelley would often hit him, but she wouldn't touch his face or hands, since they were on display. She'd tell him what a freak Fang was (hence his low self-esteem and anorexia, with his habit of apologizing even when he'd done nothing). He'd try to please her, but it was all in vain; she'd always find something to nag about. And to top it all off, she'd often make advances on him while drunk. Fang couldn't tell Buster about it, since Shelley's rank had intimidated him. The worst part was that Shelley's friends knew Shelley's true colors, but they preferred to remain silent, fully supporting her cruel games.

But, on one day everything changed...

That day, she returned home filled with rage and, unable to contain herself, attacked Feng. He desperately tried to break free, but the odds were too much. Resigned to the inevitable, Feng burst into tears.

At that moment, Shelley seemed to wake up. The realization of what she was doing washed over her like a wave of disgust, and she let go. Why did she feel so sick? Memories came flooding back: she had once been a victim of a similarly abusive relationship with Colt. And the worst part was, it had been Fang who had pulled her out of that hell. She hated herself, realizing she had become the very monster she had once fled.
