The Kurokumo Clan was tasked with securing the Monolith located within the Young-jin Building. However, the operation became complicated when Blade Lineage appeared in the building after returning from the Library. During the confrontation, Bamboo-hatted Kim began to distort, causing a massacre between both sides.

Realizing the situation was out of control, Jun decided to withdraw from the room and ordered his men to disperse to avoid further losses. As they escaped, he remained to protect and guard the door leading to the Monolith and Bamboo-hatted Kim's room.

Later, he encountered the LCB Sinners and Aeng-du. Worried that his mission to secure the Monolith was failing, Jun nervously asked if Dante's watch showed the correct time. After a brief exchange and a subsequent firefight, Jun and his men were defeated.

Seeing himself defeated and realizing he had failed in his mission, Jun began to panic about the consequences. He knew that disappointing The Thumb and failing his mission could cost him his life. He was eventually knocked unconscious and tied up after being subdued by LCB, and left on the stairs.
