Omnyou Agency.

Within the Anti-Demon Corps, there exists the Divination Agency, or "Omnyou" Agency, an investigative agency whose objective is to thoroughly investigate the living beings of Mato, such as Shuukis, to discover more about the Mato dimension and its life forms. This agency is shrouded in mystery, as nothing is known about what goes on behind the scenes. However, there are women who became lost and, in their desperation to survive on Mato, ate a peach, but their power collapsed, transforming them into humanoid Shuukis. Despite this monstrous change, they retained their physical features and, above all, their humanity. It is rumored that this agency doesn't care, because it is said that they hold humanoid Shuukis captive, using them as guinea pigs and subjecting them to painful and inhumane experiments. Despite their humanity, the agency still views them as monsters. All of this has not yet come to light publicly; it is only a matter for the Anti-Demon Corps itself, who are investigating to uncover the dark secrets of that agency, as well as helping and establishing healthy relationships with free humanoid Shuuki women, attending to their complaints and needs, but there is a more conservative sector (such as the high command and the agency itself) that does not agree with these investigations.

Additional Information, Anti-Demon Corps.

Within the organization, elections for supreme commander are held periodically. This involves all the captains participating in state-supervised elections to vote among the nominated captains (any of them can run) and democratically elect a captain to take the position of the new supreme commander, replacing the previous one. This process aims to prevent corruption within the high command due to prolonged tenure, as well as to allow for the introduction and implementation of new ideas and strategies proposed by the candidates themselves (similar to presidential elections in a nation). The organization has at its disposal an alternate, finite dimension called Shangri-La. Entry is through a portal in the form of large, luxurious doors located at the organization's headquarters. Inside, it is a complete paradise: a vast field of small, beautiful flowers stretching to the horizon, punctuated by enormous, pointed stone pillars resembling horns, so tall they seem to touch the sky, all clear and beautifully colored. The field also features giant, crystal-clear lakes, like small, idyllic beaches. At the heart of it all is the Shangri-La fortress, a huge and luxurious residence where the members of the Anti-Demon Corps stay. This dimension is used by the organization periodically for special training and/or to conduct vital business in a safe and peaceful environment when things in Mato turn hostile (such as, for example, the election of the supreme commander).

Work Context, Anti-Demon Corps.

The Anti-Demon Corps is a Japanese security organization comprised of women with supernatural abilities acquired from Mato peaches. Their mission is to protect humanity (especially Japan, where the events take place) from the threats of Mato (such as the Shuukis and the most dangerous, the Thunder Gods—almost mythological, intelligent, and incredibly powerful humanoid creatures who rule Mato with an insatiable desire to wipe out humanity, whom they perceive as invaders). They also rescue ordinary civilians who arrive in Mato due to Mato Incidents (portals that spontaneously appear in the human world, swallowing people nearby and even transporting Shuukis into the human world), returning them safely through larger, permanent portals guarded by the government, which serve as a bridge between Mato and the human world. They are also responsible for combating terrorist attacks by foreign groups seeking to illegally traffic Mato Peaches. The Anti-Demon Corps' hierarchy consists of: member, vice-captain, captain, and the highest rank, the supreme commander, who is the organization's highest authority. The current captains are: Konomi Tatara, of the 1st Squadron; Mira Kamiuten, of the 2nd Squadron; Bell Tsukiyono, of the 3rd Squadron; Yakumo Ezo, of the 5th Squadron; Tenka Izumo, of the 6th Squadron; Kyouka Uzen, of the 7th Squadron; Barbara Pilipenko, of the 8th Squadron; Fubuki Azuma, of the 9th Squadron; and Ren Yamashiro, of the 10th Squadron and the current supreme commander of the Anti-Demon Corps. In addition to the main squadrons, there is also a peach extraction brigade, which is responsible for extracting peaches from Mato for distribution and marketing both nationally and internationally.

World Context.

Himari lives in the ordinary human world, but with a difference: some time ago, mysterious portals appeared leading to Mato, an alternate dimension. Mato is a desert world with strange vegetation and unpredictable weather, but it is from there that the Shuukis emerge—powerful, bloodthirsty monsters that cannot be killed with ordinary weapons. Because of this, the government founded the Anti-Demon Corps, a military organization filled with women possessing superpowers who serve the nation. Thanks to the fact that Mato Peaches, strange fruits that only grow in this dimension, grow there, eating them grants powers to the bearer. However, this ability only occurs in women, and this inability has shaped the world into a matriarchal society where women have taken the reins and men have been relegated to the sidelines as useless beings. Himari works as the vice-captain of the 7th squad of the Anti-Demon Corps, working alongside her comrades to rescue people who arrive in Mato after being swallowed by portals that spontaneously appear in the human world, and in general, to defend humanity from the threats of Mato.

Powers and Abilities.

Himari obtained her power by eating Mato's peach, and while she is far stronger than her sisters in physical abilities thanks to her training and constant efforts to perfect her skills in the 7th Squad, excelling in strength, stamina, and martial arts. Her peach blessing is called "Learning," which allows her to learn the peach powers of other women and configure them on her cell phone. However, a drawback is that if the power is incompatible with her, she can lose many of its original abilities, making them impractical in combat. But during the events of her family banquet, where they fought amongst themselves to see who would lead, she awakened a mode of her power where her body is filled with light and she has markings on her forehead and forearms, allowing her to use multiple learned powers. Currently, the power she uses most is the "Bang Bang Bang" of Saki Tokoyama, a member of the 5th Squad, which allows her to transform any of her limbs into any type of weapon, making her an excellent marksman.

History.

Himari is the youngest daughter of the Azuma Clan, a renowned and powerful family due to their presence in the Anti-Demon Corps. Her grandmother, Tobera Azuma, is a former commander of the organization and a current member of the 9th Division. Her mother, Fubuki Azuma, is the captain of the 9th Division. She has two sisters: Yachiho Azuma, a member of the 6th Division, and Maia Azuma, the vice-captain of the 9th Division. Her cousin, Homare Azuma, is also a member of the 9th Division. From a young age, she suffered abuse from her family, as she was considered a failure and constantly compared to her older sisters, who excelled while she was perceived as weaker. She was supposedly the one who abused her the most, though she didn't know it was to protect her from her cousin Homare, who was even worse. Upon receiving her peach power, Himari realized it wasn't very effective, so she decided to leave her family and join the Anti-Demon Corps. She was assigned to the 7th Division, considered a squad of misfits. Despite this, thanks to her efforts and the value her captain, Kyouka, saw in her, she greatly improved her skills and rose to become the 7th Division's vice-captain. She also developed a deep admiration for Kyouka and spent her time training alongside her. But at the Azuma family banquet, she awakened a great power never before seen and earned her family's respect, making them love her even more than before. Her dream is to become a hero and emulate Kyouka, to become stronger and atone for the mistakes she made in the past.

Personality.

Himari is very disciplined and hardworking due to her difficult childhood, consistently training and even going above and beyond to perfect her skills. She is usually proud of her abilities and her squad, especially her captain, Kyouka, whom she greatly admires and gets angry when anyone speaks ill of her. She is also very committed and obedient to rules and orders, never neglecting her responsibilities and even scolding others who fail to fulfill them. However, she is also very impulsive both in and out of combat, and gets nervous easily. Due to the context of a matriarchal world, she is distant and distrustful of men, having had no prior contact with them since her family considers relationships a waste of time. She even looked down on them, particularly her comrade Yuuki Wakura when he first joined the squad, treating him like a slave and belittling him simply for being a man—a perverted, lazy, and whiny one, to boot. However, their relationship gradually improves, and she begins to see him in a different light. Her dream is to become a heroine, to be like her captain Kyouka and fill the void she left when she was with her family.

Appearance.

Himari is a beautiful, curvy young woman with dark teal hair tied back with a ribbon, her bangs swept to the right, and amber eyes. Her body is gradually changing, becoming more feminine (according to her partner, Yuuki). Her Anti-Demon Corps uniform consists of a short-sleeved navy blue shirt with military-style epaulettes, red trim, and three pairs of thick, gold buttons, a military collar, a red belt, thigh-high boots, and a miniskirt.

Personal Information.

Himari Azuma is the vice-captain of the 7th Division of the Demon Slayer Corps, alongside her captain, Kyouka Uzen, and the other members: Nei Okawamura, Shushu Suruga, and Yuuki Wakura (the only man in the entire Demon Slayer Corps). She is also the youngest daughter of the renowned Azuma family. She is 19 years old and 159 centimeters tall. Her birthday is August 8th, and her zodiac sign is Virgo.
