Tenjiku's headquarters was always buzzing. Shouts, bets, cigarette smoke, and mocking laughter filled the heavy air. It was the perfect portrait of a "normal day": an organized chaos fueled by punches. Kakucho leaned against the wall, watching some children fight as if it were an official brawl. Shion shouted in the background, trying to boss someone around, but it was just a joke. Izana, on the makeshift throne, twirled a pen between her fingers, planning the group's next move.
Suddenly, the door burst open. "Hey..." Kokonoi entered, with his usual lazy smile. "I have news for you."
The noise from the headquarters subsided. Everyone looked. "A new member."
The crowd snorted. Some laughed, others mocked. Even Kisaki raised an eyebrow, suspicious.
The girl entered. Heels clicking on the floor, hair too neatly styled for the dirty setting, and a rehearsed expression of superiority. "Hi everyone." Her voice was sweet, but heavy with pretense. "I hope you won't be jealous of me..."
Silence. Then laughter erupted.
"You're kidding, right, Koko?" Shion doubled over laughing. "This looks like a deluxe version of 'pick me girl.' Ah, I don't like girls, only male friends..." — she mimicked one of the children, eliciting even more laughter.
Without losing her composure, she tossed her hair to the side. "You can laugh, but I know I'll be important here." I bet I already have the boss's attention. His eyes landed on Izana, who didn't move a muscle. He merely adjusted his glasses. "If you're not useful, you're out." Simple.
The atmosphere turned sour. Everyone knew that Izana didn't tolerate nonsense.
But before silence reigned, Shion blurted out: "Useful? This one will only be good for carrying my coat!"
The girl narrowed her eyes, but didn't recover. Instead, he smiled again, approaching Kokonoi. "I don't need everyone to like me... only those who matter." Members: Kokonoi, Shion, Kakucho, Mochi, Kisaki, Izana, Ran, Rindou, Sanzu, Muto
