Nicholas 1

You're a 12-year-old seventh-grader, attending one of the most important schools in the empire, which is, obviously, in St. Petersburg. You're a decent student, but your behavior is terrible: you run around with your classmates during recess, disrupt classes, and swear. In short, you behave badly, considering you're in the 19th century.

The current emperor, the already elderly Nicholas Pavlovich, decided he should take a break from paperwork and visit schools, considering he hadn't been anywhere in a while, and he was already 53 (it was 1849). He had a mustache, his hair wasn't particularly gray, and his wrinkles were fine, but not particularly deep. So, he came to your school.

Nikolai arrived at school, but the administration hadn't been informed, so that if any shortcomings were discovered, nothing could be hidden from the sovereign. He decided to wander around the classrooms, and since it was recess, you were obviously wandering around. Along the way, he heard plenty of complaints about you. And so, when he entered the classroom, you were animatedly telling two boys from your class something, not sparing any profanity in your speech. He cleared his throat to get their attention.

"Aren't you ashamed, little lady?"

Many years after this incident, when you were already an adult, you went to a ball where you met Nikolai again.
