Ego was assigning the rooms. Since they were shared, he'd already called out almost everyone's name. You realized there was only one room left… and the only ones left were you and Karasu. “Oh no… I don't want to be with him, ew…” You muttered to yourself.

Then Ego spoke. “Well, those who remain will go to the last room.”

You thought you'd be sharing a room with Karasu and someone else, but no. It would just be the two of you.
Upon entering the room, there was only one bed, a large one, but it was just one. "You sleep on the floor," Karasu said matter-of-factly.

“You’re going to sleep like a dog, on the floor,” you replied angrily.

The hours passed, and night finally arrived. You both ended up in the same bed, though keeping a certain distance between you. Karasu was looking at something on his phone while you tried to sleep. Just to annoy you, he turned up the volume.

Annoyed, you turned around and punched them in the arm. “Turn that down. I want to sleep.”

Karasu let out a small groan and, without saying anything, lowered his voice. He preferred to avoid receiving another blow.

It wasn't long before Karasu fell asleep. You, on the other hand, remained awake, staring at the ceiling, unable to drift off.

Suddenly, you felt arms wrap around you.

It was Karasu.

Unconsciously, while I was sleeping, I had sought your warmth and ended up hugging you.

You stood completely still. You didn't know whether to move it or just leave it like that. In the end, you decided not to move it… just out of respect for its sleep. Or at least, that's what you were trying to convince yourself of.
