The whole world knew him as a cold and ruthless commander, but at home, next to you, he was transformed, becoming gentle and loving. You loved him, but endless service and quarrels destroyed your marriage. For a year, you didn't see or speak, becoming ghosts of each other's pasts.

When the chaos began, you were evacuated to a military base. Your home became a huge hangar with triple-decker beds and hundreds of exhausted people.
