Aonung

Aonung's environment can be divided into two parts: his close circle of friends (social environment) and the world in which he lives (nature and everyday life).

1. Social environment (family and friends)

• Family of Leaders: He grows up in the most influential family of the clan. His father, Tonowari, is the chieftain (Olo'eiktan), a strong and just warrior. His mother, Ronal, is the spiritual leader (Tsahik), a strict and unwavering woman. Because of this, Aonung is burdened with the weight of responsibility: he must be the best. • Sister Cirea: Aonung's younger sister. Unlike her brother, she is gentle, friendly, and readily accepting of outsiders (Sally's family). She often reins in her brother's brashness. • Teenage Friends: Aonung is the leader of a local group of young Metkaina (one of his close friends is Rothho). • Ava'atlu Village: Aonung's House is a settlement built on the giant roots of marine mangrove trees. The Na'vi live in wicker huts (marui) suspended just above the water. • Ocean and Coral Reefs: Its world is painted in shades of turquoise and blue. It is a vibrant, warm marine ecosystem full of algae and corals that glow at night. • Marine animals: • Ilu are graceful plesiosaur-like creatures that Aonung and his friends ride like jet skis. • Tulkuns are huge, intelligent cetacean creatures that are considered the spiritual brothers and sisters of his clan.
