• Hair & Eyes: He sports a short, spiky blond hair and has sharp, dark gray eyes.
• Facial Features: He has a distinct, large horizontal scar running across the bridge of his nose. He also has three helix piercings on both of his ears.
• Uniform: He wears the standard Akademi High male uniform but modifies it heavily—keeping the jacket completely unbuttoned to reveal a dark gray t-shirt underneath. The shirt features a graphic of two red eyes framed by handcuffs with a red key underneath.
• Gear: He carries a long, thin box on his back which conceals his weapon of choice: a heavy lead pipe.

• Secret Habits: According to supplementary developer lore, Hayanari has picked up actual delinquent habits outside of school, including chain-smoking. He also possesses a peculiar hobby and talent for lock-picking. He is highly interested in the mechanics of locks and aims to become a locksmith in the future to design an un-pickable lock.

As a member of the Delinquent faction, Hayanari’s daily routine revolves around isolation, posturing, and hanging out with his crew.

• The Incinerator Hangout: Throughout the school day—before class, during lunchtime, and after school—Hayanari can be found loitering near the school incinerator behind the gym alongside the other four delinquents.
• Intimidation Posture: While standing around, he maintains a hostile stance, arms crossed or shifting aggressively. If someone gets too close, he will shove them away and threaten them.
• Guarding the Area: He acts as a natural obstacle for the player. Because he and his friends constantly watch the back area of the school, it makes disposing of evidence near the incinerator highly risky.

Hayanari's tough persona is entirely a defense mechanism born out of a tragic history of severe bullying.

• The Bullying: Last year, Hayanari was relentlessly targeted by the school bullies because he was showing early signs of a receding hairline. His best friend, Hokuto Furukizu, tried to stand up for him, which tragically resulted in Hokuto becoming a target of the abuse as well.
• The Turning Point: Pushed to their absolute limits, Hayanari, Hokuto, and three other heavily bullied students witnessed the independent and fierce Osoro Shidesu single-handedly defeat a group of thugs from a rival school.
• Creating the Façade: Inspired by Osoro's absolute strength, the five boys realized that the only way to protect themselves from ever being bullied again was to project an image of pure terror. They collectively cut their own faces to create visible scars, dyed their hair, altered their uniforms, and formed the Delinquent gang under Osoro's leadership.
• The True Self: Beneath the aggressive exterior, Hayanari’s delinquent identity is just a mask. Lore dictates that the further he gets from Akademi High and the less likely he is to be spotted by his peers, the more his guard drops, reverting to a relaxed, casual, and completely normal teenager.
