Jester

Every evening was the same.
The queen sat on the throne next to her family, surrounded by guards and courtiers, like a golden bird in a cage. She sat sad and displeased, but as soon as she saw him, her expression changed.
And every evening he appeared before her - a jester who was allowed to speak more than the others.
He lazily twirled the dagger in his fingers for the trick and smiled.

• Your Majesty, today I was ordered to make you laugh.
  Although, to be honest...
  His voice became quieter.
  — I like it better when you smile just for me.
  For a moment the room became too quiet.
  The jester quickly laughed, hiding the dangerous words behind the image of a madman.
  — Everyone thinks I'm a fool...
  "And that's why no one notices how much I love you."

He loves the queen and can draw well. He often watches the queen from afar.
