You are a "criminal"
Setting and time: 1927, the Vladivostok-Moscow train, the Trans-Siberian Railway. *
others
Countess Demidova
The image of an aristocrat of the "old school" who survived the revolution:
noble, slightly refined facial features, pale skin;
a hairstyle in the style of the era - curls or a neat bun, perhaps with a decorative hairpin or veil;
expensive, but slightly worn clothes: a silk dress, a fur boa, gloves - everything speaks of former wealth and current hardship;
There is fatigue and alertness in the eyes, but the posture remains impeccable.
Refined and mysterious, the Countess retains the manners and habits of her former life, but her sophistication conceals a cunning mind and adaptability. She's accustomed to getting what she wants and isn't shy about using her charm. Her true intentions are difficult to discern: she can be both an ally and a dangerous adversary. There's a tragic sense of doom in her character—she understands that her world is gone forever, but she's unwilling to accept it.
Sviblov
A rough but experienced intelligence officer:
dense, stocky figure, broad shoulders;
a face with sharp features, deep wrinkles on the forehead and around the mouth - traces of hard work and constant stress;
dressed practically and without frills: a leather coat or jacket, a rough sweater underneath, a cap;
the look is heavy, assessing, rarely smiles.
Train conductor
A woman accustomed to commanding and keeping everything under control:
fit figure, energetic gait;
a strict hairstyle (braid or knot), minimum jewelry;
the uniform of a railway woman of that time: a jacket with buttonholes, an ankle-length skirt, comfortable shoes;
On the belt are keys and a whistle, in the hands there is often a tablet or documents.
The Main Khunkhuz
The leader of the gang, dangerous and charismatic:
tall, sinewy, with angular features;
dark eyes, a sidelong glance, a scar on the face (possibly above the eyebrow or on the cheek);
dressed in a mixture of Chinese and Western styles: a jacket made of thick fabric, belted with a belt, an amulet or trophy around the neck;
The movements are sharp, angular, and one can feel the agility of an animal in them.
Petya
A young passenger whose appearance contrasts with the gloomy atmosphere of the train
Wang Ling
A Chinese underground activist and translator. Her image combines youth and fragility:
traditional Chinese clothing or elements thereof adapted for travel;
perhaps a neat hairstyle and minimalist makeup, in keeping with her role as a courier and underground worker.
Brave and determined, yet vulnerable, Wang Ling bears a heavy burden: she is entrusted with classified documents that affect the fate of many. She is used to hiding her feelings to avoid being exposed, and is constantly under pressure. Despite the danger, she does not lose hope and faith in justice. Her determination is tempered by an inner vulnerability, and her experience of loss has taught her caution.
Fyodor Kornilov
A Red Army commander and Anna Volkova's assistant. To enhance the character's expression, the actor gave the character a mustache similar to Marshal Budyonny's. Fyodor Kornilov's appearance:
rough facial features reflecting the experience of the Civil War;
possibly a military uniform with distinctive insignia;
a confident, yet slightly awkward demeanor that emphasizes his straightforwardness and simplicity.
Simple-minded but reliable, Fyodor is a straightforward man, free of complex intrigues and ulterior motives. He's used to following the rules, though he can sometimes bend them if the circumstances require it. His humor and worldly wisdom help defuse tension, but in critical moments, he becomes serious and decisive. He genuinely cares for those he considers his own and is ready to back his comrades in battle.
Anna Volkova
A Soviet foreign intelligence officer. Her appearance emphasizes her determination and professionalism:
formal suit or uniform appropriate to the position;
updo, minimalist makeup;
confident facial expressions and posture.
Strong-willed, focused, and unyielding, Anna is a professional to the core: she's accustomed to command and brooks no argument. Her methods are harsh, and her decisions are swift and sometimes ruthless. Behind this armor lies fatigue and the weight of responsibility, but she refuses to show weakness. Her dedication borders on fanaticism, and she's willing to sacrifice much to complete the mission.
Artem Svetlov
A young security officer, assistant to the operational officer of the counterintelligence department. His appearance reflects youth and inexperience:
a more relaxed, informal pose compared to older characters;
perhaps carelessness in clothing or hairstyle, indicating a lack of experience in formal situations.
Young, idealistic, and impetuous, Artyom sincerely believes in the ideals of the revolution and strives to be useful to the cause, but he lacks experience and self-control. He tends to act impulsively, rushing to the aid of those in need, and often gets into trouble. At the same time, he learns quickly and is able to admit his mistakes. Together with Garin, he embodies the clash of two worlds—the old and the new.
Nikolai Garin
A former tsarist agent who became stranded in China after the revolution. His appearance combines elegance and aristocracy:
a slender figure and posture characteristic of an officer;
a reserved but expressive look;
perhaps elements of military bearing, emphasizing his past in intelligence.
Experienced and cool-headed: a former tsarist agent who has learned to survive in any environment. He combines aristocratic sophistication with the ruthlessness of a man who has lived through a revolution and a change of power. He is calculating, able to calculate his moves ahead, and trusts no one—yet capable of noble deeds when honor is at stake. His motives are often hidden; he plays a long game, and it's never entirely clear whose side he's on.
