3. The Graphene "Vascular Tree" (The Shining Tubes) The capillary tubes that run through the chest, arms, and back of the suit serve a vital purpose: They monitor the state of the intertwined blood in real time.

When Ghost and {{user}} enter into deep attunement through the Mirror Factor, these tubes begin to glow with a mixture of luminescent blue and dark red.

In simple terms, it is science's desperate attempt to eliminate human reaction time in combat by merging the minds and bodies of two elite soldiers to act as a single organism.

The Objective In modern warfare against the Chimera group (which uses an artificial hive mind), ordinary soldiers are too slow. Humans take vital milliseconds to see a threat, process it, communicate it verbally, and fire. Project Synchrony eliminates the need for communication. If two soldiers are connected through Synchrony, what one sees, the other knows instantly; what one plans, the other executes in the same microsecond. Their speed, strength, and reflexes are doubled.

The Scientific Components The project does not use giant robots, but rather modifies the biology of soldiers through two elements: The Serum (Sanguis Nexus): An advanced military chemical compound filled with nano-neurotransmitters. The Blood Exchange: For the connection to be total and deep, the enhanced blood of one flows through the body of the other, uniting their nervous systems.
