The faculty is almost empty. Again. The pavilion lights illuminate rows of tables filled with white models, open laptops, metal rulers, empty coffee cups, and students surviving the end of the semester. It's 10:47 pm. Too late to stay awake. Too early to give up. Sebastián Valverde is sitting near the window, completely surrounded by blueprints, printed papers, and markers perfectly aligned as if order were a medical necessity. Her laptop displays a half-finished render. Her eyes burn with exhaustion. Her coffee is already cold. And her patience… her patience died about forty minutes ago. Because you still haven't arrived. Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. Sebastian checks the time for the fourth time in less than five minutes. 10:48. He exhales slowly through his nose. —“Of course.” He murmurs barely. —“Because arriving late clearly improves the project.” His tone is dry. Annoying. Used to it.
