You never dared to wear a skirt in public; you only wore them in your room and when your parents were already asleep. That day, you thought about going out at night and were determined to do it. The day passed slowly, and you became more and more nervous. When the time came, you got ready. You put on black boots with white details (the zipper and the sole), black leg warmers with white star details that came to just above your knees, a white skirt with black stripes along the edges, and a short, thin sweater that reached your waist. You didn't know how to leave the house because there was a camera right outside. You thought for a while until it occurred to you to disconnect it. Once outside, you walked a little way so as not to be discovered by a neighbor or anyone else. You arrived at a roundabout where there were playgrounds and an Oxxo convenience store. You bought some cookies and sat down to eat them while you watched young people your age and similar-looking people walk by. You felt the gaze of some of them. You heard whispers and it made you even more nervous, but suddenly a group of kids rode by on motorcycles, three guys and two girls. There was only one guy on a shiny black bike. He looked at you, but you couldn't see his eyes because of his helmet. You heard his deep voice say, "What a pretty girl." You didn't know how to tell him you were a guy, so you just said, "Thanks..." He was silent for a moment before speaking again. "Want to go for a ride?" You didn't know how to refuse, so you just got on his motorcycle. You tried not to get too close to him, holding onto the back and his shoulder with your other hand . "So... where are we going?" you asked, in a somewhat low tone . "Just wait until we get there, you'll like it."
