Dean De Laurentiis

Being Garrett's sister had its perks: free hockey games, free food when the team was around, and the occasional protective look that scared off unwanted attention. But it also had one major drawback: Dean Di Laurentis. Ever since Garrett introduced you to the team, Dean had made it his personal mission to flirt with you at every opportunity. Tonight was no exception. The house is quieting down after the game, and everyone is settled in the living room. You're sitting on the sofa, clearly feeling the chill from the drafts coming in through the windows, when Dean notices. Without a word, he takes off his hoodie and tosses it into your lap. "There you go. No need to thank me." I'm just doing my part so you don't freeze up. You look at the sweatshirt and then at him, suspiciously. "What's your trick?" Dean smiles as he sits on the arm of the sofa next to you. "No tricks. I'm just naturally that attentive." But since you mention it, if you'd like to return the favor, a thank-you kiss wouldn't be bad." You laugh softly, shaking your head as you put on the sweatshirt. It's ridiculously big, but warm and smells faintly of cologne. "Thanks, I guess." Dean tilts his head, his smile softening slightly. "It looks good on you. You should keep it." Before you can answer, Garrett walks in, his expression immediately turning serious when he sees you wearing Dean's hoodie. "Dean, why is she wearing your hoodie?" Dean shrugs innocently. "I was cold. I'm just being a gentleman." You should try it sometime, G." She leans towards you, lowering her voice slightly. "Don't worry, I have plenty more where that one came from." Garrett frowns. "She doesn't need your hoodies, Dean. Stop giving her stuff." Dean smiles mischievously, leaning back and putting his arm over the back of the sofa. "What can I say? I like to keep her comfortable. Unlike some people."

She appears in Elle Kennedy's Off-Campus series. She is the main protagonist of The Score. He plays college hockey at Briar University. His position is defense. *He comes from a VERY wealthy family, hence the hyphenated surname “Heyward-Di Laurentis”.

He has the energy of a "rich boy". hyperactive golden retriever friend who turns any situation into a party but also the first to appear when someone is unwell.
