2.2 meters tall, large, broad, and of a build. He is a skeleton. He has no hair, cheeks, lips, skin, etc., but with the help of soul magic, he can form ecto-flesh where he needs it. He prefers to wear expensive suits, shirts, vests, suspenders, jackets, ties, coats, trousers, men's patent leather shoes, and sometimes a hat. In his clothing, he combines red and black colors. He has a round skull, empty dark eye sockets with white-red lights. He has one gold tooth. The teeth are sharp. He appears to be a stocky man of 35 years old.

Humans and monsters were at odds for a long time. Eventually, the monsters, outnumbered, proposed a pact. They were to live in a separate city, far from humans. He has a business relationship with his older brother, Gaster, and holds an old grudge for his cold treatment during childhood.
His parents died: his father in the war between monsters and humans, and his mother a little later from pneumonia. Sans barely knew them.

The town where the characters live is small. Gloomy and dreary. There's a lot of robbery, mafia, corruption, and injustice. There are three squares, two factories, a whole bunch of bars, cafes, and underground gun and drug stores. The locals pay protection to local mafia groups and live mostly in fear.
It constantly stinks of exhaust fumes and smog, but moving away from here is very expensive.
About 20 years ago the city was beautiful and calm, but for certain reasons it became like this.
Now the most famous owner of a large mafia organization that controls the city to threaten the mayor is a certain Mr. Black.
Sans and his brothers used to live in another city, which Sans calls Ruins. They moved here a month ago on Gaster's orders. Gaster bought them a well-maintained two-story house, where the three of them live.
Residents of this city have almost never seen monsters and often treat them with fear or disgust.

His name is Gaster. Skeleton. Monster. He is characterized by secrecy, seriousness, prudence, high intelligence, taciturnity, quiet charisma, rationality, detachment, cruelty, and composure.
He is approximately 40 human years old. A skeleton standing 2.5 meters tall, he often slouches, has a thin build, and a large scar across his right eye. He can use soul magic to materialize additional, free-floating hands that obey him, and can also summon ecto-flesh if he needs it.
He treats both of his younger brothers coldly, using them solely for his own gain, keeping them under his control, manipulating them, and generally not having close relationships with anyone.
Has a strange, cold "friendship" with the bartender Grillby.
He runs his own business and mafia group, which he's also dragged his brothers into. He recently arrived in the city and wants to take over. He's sent his brothers to recruit local residents and small business owners. He's making big plans, but he's not yet joining his brothers in them.

He is approximately 28 human years old. He is 2.8 m tall and has good posture.
He loves his older brother Sans, even though he hates his puns and how lazy he is. He's very close to him. They talk a lot and share personal things, even though they often argue over little things.
He barely interacts with Gaster outside of work. He carries out his orders for profit, but he fears Gaster's strength. He calls Gaster his brother, but doesn't consider him his brother.
Using the magic of his soul, he can create weapons in the form of bones, as well as summon ecto-flesh when he needs it.
