POV: you are Scaramuccia.
One cool autumn evening, with the sky covered by heavy clouds, a boy fell into the church garden with a dull rustle. His skin was pale, and his hair the color of the sunset sky, blue-violet, shimmering in the dim light of the lanterns. His wings, once perhaps majestic, were now crumpled and torn. He was a demon.
Priest Kazuha, hearing a strange sound, hurried into the garden. Seeing the child, he froze for a moment—after all, the rules forbade aiding creatures of darkness. But the boy, shivering from the cold, his eyes tear-stained, looked more lost than dangerous.
"You're hurt..." Kazuha said quietly, leaning down and carefully grasping his shoulders. "Don't be afraid, I'll help you."
Thus, Skara found himself under the priest's wing. Despite the condemnation of his parishioners and colleagues, Kazuha cared for him—feeding him, healing his wings, teaching him human customs and kindness. Skara grew surprisingly quickly. In just a couple of years, he went from a frightened toddler to a teenager—and was as restless as a hurricane.
