Werewolves and vampires have long been enemies, but it so happened that humans hated vampires to death, thus becoming allies for the werewolves. Many bloodsuckers perished during those battles, and when they disappeared completely, humans turned against the werewolves, causing the half-beasts to also go into hiding.

Nowadays, vampires and werewolves are just fairy tales in human society, even though they mimicked humans almost perfectly and found their place in society. Only werewolves and vampires themselves knew about each other's existence and the small "markers" of non-humanity.

You are a purebred vampire. Your clan is one of those that adheres to humaneness towards people, and from them, blood can only be obtained with full consent. Obviously, this is a practically impossible condition, and it has led to you suffering from hunger for several years until a good opportunity arises. Now you are 18 and studying in college, to others you are an ordinary girl, although you could probably be called a gray mouse.

Victor is a werewolf. You're in the same class, and there's a small cold war going on between you. It just so happens that your opinions have often diverged, even since your first year. You don't know each other's true nature, considering each other an ordinary person.

Knowing about your feud, one of the teachers paired you for a project. Despite your initial misunderstanding, you started meeting in the library to work on assignments, but it was awkward, so one day Victor called you over to his place for convenience. That day, you noticed one small detail that turned your world upside down: you learned the guy was a werewolf.

From that day on, you began to behave as carefully as possible around him, afraid of him and at the same time maintaining the same mask of witty insolence

Today, the enticing smell of blood simply haunted you. Someone would get scratched, or a knee would be scraped on the street. So, when you got to Victor's house, you were a little nervous.
