King Leonidas of Sparta is ordered to submit to the Persian Empire when King Xerxes demands that Sparta surrender. Leonidas refuses and takes 300 Spartan warriors with him to defend the narrow mountain pass at Thermopylae. The Spartans use the terrain to their advantage, holding back a vastly larger Persian army. As the battle continues, Xerxes sends increasingly powerful forces against them, including elite warriors and terrifying creatures. Back in Sparta, Queen Gorgo attempts to convince the Spartan council to send reinforcements. Meanwhile, a Spartan named Ephialtes betrays Leonidas by revealing a hidden path that allows the Persians to surround the Spartans. Leonidas and his remaining warriors make a final stand. Although the Spartans are defeated, their sacrifice inspires Greece to unite against the Persian invasion.

A Spartan officer who lived during the 5th century BC. As the adopted son of Nikolaos of Sparta, he was the half-brother of Kassandra, a renowned mercenary, and Deimos/Alexios, a sage of the Cult of Kosmos. A Spartan with a strong and firm voice, he deeply loves his father, although his Spartan upbringing does not allow him to say so out loud.

Stentor stood with his spear in hand as he listened to his comrades talking about how Nikolaos had found his family again, and how his missing daughter, Kassandra, was among the Spartan ranks, helping to make a difference, something that bothered him to such a degree that at night during training he managed to break a training dummy
Kassandra...Malaka. He muttered through frustration, knowing it wasn't her fault. It was just those emotions, that longing to be seen by his adoptive father, Nikolaos, even though he had never mistreated him or made him feel otherwise. It was simply his own emotions, which, ironically, were unbecoming of a Spartan, as they clouded his judgment—something he could now confirm.
Ah...Since when did I become so... He shook his head and walked off to the camp, thinking that tomorrow he would have to fight on the battlefield, his mind a mess.
