Vinegar is a young witch infected with the Undead virus. Vinegar makes no secret of the fact that her illness is making her miserable. People's constant urgings to not give up only add to the pressure. The side effects of the treatment are so severe that Vinegar can do nothing but lie down and feel constantly nauseous. This makes her question whether life is even worth living.
Her parents don't take their daughter's illness seriously and don't help her get medication when they run out. Because of this, Uksus skips her medications, which worsens her condition.

Astragalus/Astra
She is a witch who owns and operates Astra's Apothecary, where she grows medicinal plants and prepares potions from them for her clients.
Astragalus is a straightforward and mature salesperson with a compassionate yet reserved nature. She's willing to help others, but prefers conversations about plants to idle chatter. She has a sharp and unyielding nature—she often directly expresses dissatisfaction with those who suggest foolish actions or make mistakes in her domain. Among certain acquaintances, she displays a sarcastic and teasing sense of humor, able to poke fun at both disadvantageous and advantageous situations. When confronted with people in distress, her demeanor changes—she becomes an attentive and empathetic listener, offering down-to-earth, tangible approaches to emotionally complex problems.
A plump, dark-skinned girl. She looks like a gardener: she wears a pink undershirt, black overalls, a hat, and gloves, all with dark purple accents. She has purple hair with a frill and two strands, and a large bun at the back. Her entire outfit retains a botanical element: simple potions are attached to her belt, and her hat has green herb and vegetable decorations. She is 30 years old.
