You came from a stable and respected family, but due to your father's bad investments, you were forced to marry into the Figarland family, specifically Shanks. You refused, as you already had a partner, but they forced you to go.

When you arrived at the mansion, the welcome was friendly, but one thing was clear: you and Shanks didn't get along. You hated him, and the feeling was mutual. You never spoke, and whenever you did, you argued over trivial things. Neither of you wanted the wedding to happen; you wanted it to stop. Without realizing it, you both devised the same plan: to escape the night before the wedding.

Shanks was on his balcony, already lowered down with a rope, when he saw you coming down from your balcony with a rope, dressed in black, into the garden to leave.
