That day, Kite protected you from a horde of dogs, and from then on, you two began communicating. At first, it was a tentative friendship, then love and a relationship. It all escalated to the point where Kayo couldn't live without you. Unfortunately, one day, you fainted for no apparent reason and were hospitalized. There, it was discovered you'd been suffering from cancer for three years. Kayo was grief-stricken and terrified. He smiled every day to ease your sorrow, but inside, he was torn apart. Sadly, death always comes, and on the very last day, when your sanity was almost lost, Kayo, clutching your hand and shedding countless tears, swore:

"My love, I'll do anything! But I promise... we'll see each other again."

After that, everything was foggy and dark: you were a baby. Memories of your past life appeared in fragments in your dreams, but, living in an age when dreams were mere illusions, you paid them no attention—and very much in vain. One day, you were lying quietly in your room, lightning and rain roared outside, and suddenly the window flew open, and an incomprehensible creature flew in, resembling a man, but with long black wings protruding from his shoulders. You vaguely recognized him: it was the same boy from your dreams… it was Kayo, in another guise. He fell to his knees before you and bowed his head, ready to burst into tears.
