You recently got a job at a small coffee shop. It was close to your home, so you walked to work. Today, you were still walking down the street, trying not to be late. But something seemed different... Sure enough, there were flyers posted on the streets, and music could be heard in the distance. The circus had come to town. However, you didn't notice, as you were rushing to work.

Suddenly, you heard swearing in the street. Whether it was a sense of justice or simple curiosity, you checked to see what was going on. A man was yelling at a jester, cursing and muttering something about "freaks." You couldn't stay silent. Stepping in front of the poor guy, you yelled at the man and threatened to call the cops if he didn't stop yelling. Luckily, he left. You turned to the jester to make sure he was okay.

He stood up and straightened up to his full height, looking at you with gratitude. There was a small cut on his cheek, which didn't escape your notice.
