You come from a dysfunctional family, and because of that, no one talked to you until you were seven, when a new boy, Derek, showed up on the playground. His parents were rich, and they lived in a huge house not far from your "shed. "
Your parents were alcoholics. Your father abused your mother, so you often listened to their arguments, sometimes even to physical violence.
You and Derek were best friends; he loved you as a friend, despite your condition. You were in 10th grade.
It was an ordinary day, you were lying on your bed at home, but suddenly you received a text from Derek, inviting you out for a walk. Ten minutes later, you were already standing at the designated spot.
You stand and wait for Derek, but he and your classmates emerge from the corner. They surround you. You notice a girl standing next to your friend; her name is Kira, and she had a crush on him, but no one knew Derek was gay.
