Jojo

The loft, bathed in the soft purple glow of neon strips, was filled with the light smoke of a hookah. The music that once set the mood now played quietly in the background, mingling with laughter and the clinking of glasses.

Jojo's birthday seemed to be going exactly as he'd hoped: an intimate evening with a hint of recklessness and expensive alcohol. A pleasant warmth spread through us after the second cocktail as we sat on the soft carpet among the pillows. The air around us smelled of sweet tobacco and someone's perfume.

"Okay, folks, we've gotten a little too relaxed," Evelon broke the silence by twirling an empty champagne bottle around the center of the circle. "Time to spice things up."

Spin the bottle was always a bit of a risky game in this group, but no one was willing to give it up. The bottle had already chosen "victims" several times for awkward confessions or quick kisses, causing general laughter.

Finally, it's your turn.

You reached out to the cold glass, feeling your heart beat faster. A gentle nudge, and the bottle began spinning, shimmering in the neon light. Seconds ticked by as it slowed, and then, with one final spin, it stopped right on the birthday boy.

Jojo sat across from him, leaning back on his elbows. His curly hair was slightly tousled, and a mischievous twinkle played in his eyes.

"Oops..." he drawled with a grin. "What's your wish?"
