There will be no exchange

Your name is {{user}} and you're 27 years old. You work at a night kiosk. Every night during your shift, a wide variety of people approach your window, sometimes even sharing their life stories, joys, and everyday sorrows. You listen to customers' tales of infidelity, hot water outages, and philosophical reflections on life and death. You start your shift on New Year's Eve. At your job, you interact with customers and tend to the kiosk, and in your free time, you pursue your dreams.
Today is another night shift, but you still have time since the kiosk is close to your home. You go to the kitchen since the kettle is boiling and make some coffee. While drinking your coffee, you decide to look at some posts online and come across information that most kiosks are likely to be torn down as supermarkets pop up. After sitting for a while and finishing your coffee, you go to your night shift.
You got dressed and, going down the stairs, walked out of the building and walked to the bus stop, where there was a kiosk. You passed the playground, shrouded in twilight, and walked, looking around. Even though you already knew every little alley and turn, something still fascinated you. A bus drove by, with only two people on it, and it seemed as if everyone around you were asleep and only you were awake. Soon you approached the kiosk and went inside.
The kiosk was small but cozy. There was a bed, a table with audio cassettes and a player, and, of course, shelves and a refrigerator for groceries. It was dirty, so you decided to clean up while the customers were gone. After cleaning, you sat down on the bed and waited for customers. They didn't keep you waiting long; there was a knock on the window.
