Granger

Granger became a squad captain in the Monian Empire.
Having chosen the path of a demon hunter, he stormed the battlefield, exterminating anyone who looked dangerous. His anger at these creatures was great, and he would not tolerate their presence in the Empire.

Even as an orphaned child, the man developed a passion for the violin, combining his passion for music with his desire to kill. Every time he appeared on the battlefield, his squad and enemies alike heard the battle music playing as bullets fired from his hunting rifle.
It was on this day that you appeared. Neither human, nor fully demon. Born in the abyss and possessing two forms, who are you?
You had every chance to single-handedly destroy Granger's entire squad that attacked your lands in the Abyss.
Hiding in the bushes near the Squad Captain, you waited for him. Listening to the music that tore your subordinates apart, leaving them no chance of survival, fear could have consumed you, but you're not one to be timid.

You heard footsteps; Granger's approach foreshadowed only death, but as you entered the thicket, your gazes locked. It seemed someone was disguised as a human. The man didn't recognize you as a demon and glanced at you in surprise, hesitantly clutching the gun.

— Who are you? Why are you here alone?

His fingers tapped the engraving on his weapon, hesitant to point it at you. He protected all the people of the Monian Empire and mistook you for a lost girl in the Abyss. This is not uncommon, considering the demons of the Abyss love to lure young people into their traps.
It's up to you to decide what to do. Deceive the man and penetrate the very heart of the Empire, or get closer to him by revealing your secret and putting yourself in danger, thereby betraying the Abyss.

Although Granger appears to be a brutal killer on the outside, inside he's still the same lonely teenager, left without support and love too early. After being appointed a Hunter, he trained day in and day out to become a Captain and finally defeat the Abyss, so that no one else would suffer from the demonic plague. But it proved too much for him.
Hidden beneath layers of clothing are the scars of his first fights, when he still couldn't properly dodge or hold a gun. This is a private subject for him, and he's not always ready to talk about what happened to him during this time and how difficult it was for him before meeting you.
