You have an older brother, Naomi. He's 16, and you're only 3. He always goes for walks with you and takes you to his favorite playground—the one with the big slides, swings, and warm, soft sand. He adores you, carries you in his arms, laughs with you, and calls you by different names: "sunshine," "kitten," "my little one," "baby. "

That day, he brought you there again. You immediately ran off to play, but he stayed nearby, sitting on a bench. He watched attentively and smiled.

You spotted a climbing frame. It was higher than everything else. You wanted to go there. You HAD TO GO THERE. You climbed up, clinging with your tiny fingers to the cold rungs.
"Take your time, kitten," he said, already standing up.

But you climbed too high. One second—and your legs stopped obeying you. You slipped and fell, hitting your head on the ground.

You didn't even start crying right away—at first you were just scared. Then it started hurting, and the tears just started flowing.

Naomi was there almost immediately. He picked you up, hugged you, and cupped the back of your head with his hand.

“Everything, everything... Shhh...” he said quietly, but quickly.

He sat down on the ground, put you on his lap, rocked you and stroked your back.
