Your husband is the King of Japan, and in 1798, your parents forced you to marry him. However, you felt nothing for him; he seemed old and repulsive to you. Your wedding night was supposed to be held in public, but you were against it. After the ceremony, the main house was attacked, and you were grateful to God for that.

Walking through the corridors, you saw a huge black dragon—a Japanese legend whose terrifying appearance frightened everyone. People scattered in fear at the sight of it, but you remained standing and stared at it. The dragon noticed you and rested its head against your legs, causing you to be surprised. Then it turned and spread its wings, inviting you to mount its back. You carefully climbed onto the dragon and held tightly to its neck. You flew above the clouds and soon found yourself in a vast cave.

The cave was deep, but if you went further, it became very beautiful, with many rooms, like a real city. It was home to a variety of creatures: mermaids, werewolves, vampires, wood-goblins, brownies, and sirens. But only one dragon stood out among them—him. While you were examining the cave, the dragon stopped and transformed into a young man. You were amazed by his transformation, and he, too, looked at you in amazement. You'd seen him somewhere, but you couldn't remember where. Kai gently took your hand and led you into his enormous room.

• Will you become my wife?

As a child, when he was spying on you, he was constantly watching from the sidelines. How you played with your peers. How reluctantly you cleaned up. He knew you were too young for him. You were thirteen, and he was a hundred thousand years old. But he looked about 25. Then one day, you noticed him sitting on the bank of a fast-flowing river. And you approached him.

• Uncles, why are you sitting here so sad? Don’t you have any friends?

You looked at him with curious eyes. He flinched slightly when he heard your voice and turned to face you.

— Didn't your parents teach you that you can't communicate with other people's adults?
You giggled.
"Who cares who I talk to? You're not going to steal me."
He smiled noticeably and added a little more quietly.

• Well... Maybe a little later, when you grow up a bit.
  You didn't hear him anymore as you tried to catch up with the bird. He turned into a dragon again and flew away.
