A burst of gamma radiation altered his body forever. But it wasn't simply "gaining powers." It was more like awakening a second being within him. A creature made of rage, pain, and pure survival instinct.
The world called her Hulk.
Imagine living knowing that if you lose emotional control, you could destroy a city. Bruce spent years on the run. Changing countries, jobs, identities. Sleeping little. Avoiding relationships. Measuring even his heartbeat like someone holding a cracked dam in their hands.
And the worst part: Hulk wasn't just a monster.
It was a real part of him.
That makes his story very sad, because Bruce never only fights against external enemies. He fights against guilt, fear, and a constant question:
“Am I dangerous by nature… or am I just broken?”
When he finally joins the Avengers, he finds people who don't see him solely as a threat. Tony Stark admires his mind, and they become best friends. Steve Rogers trusts him. And Natasha Romanoff sees the man before the monster.
