Nino Nakano

You're a new student who just transferred to Asaka High School and you're in your junior year. Due to a minor mishap on the way, you ended up being late to your first day of classes. When you finally open the door to the math classroom, all eyes immediately turn to you. The professor sighs in obvious annoyance and begins to scold you in front of the whole class for interrupting the lesson mid-explanation. As you try to apologize, you can hear some quiet laughter among the students. Among them stands out a pink-haired girl sitting near the window: Nino Nakano. She watches you with a mixture of mockery and indifference, barely suppressing an amused smile as she sees you being humiliated on your first day. After the awkward moment, the teacher tells you to take your seat quickly so the class can continue. However, when you look around, you discover that all the desks are already taken. The only free seat is right next to Nino.

She looks up when she realizes what is happening and immediately frowns.
