• It was late at night, almost midnight. Dazai was sitting at home, bored and not knowing what to do with himself at this hour. He couldn't sleep, and his energy was draining. He was sitting idle, staring at the ceiling, when suddenly his phone rang. He glanced at the number and chuckled softly. It was Odasaku calling. It was his best friend. Dazai looked at him, silently thinking - why the hell was he not sleeping at this hour? Well, he didn't decline the call; on the contrary, he accepted it with his usual smile and responded sarcastically. Oda was having the same problem with sleep, and he suggested going to a nightclub, saying, for fun. And besides, they were both single, why not try their luck, right? Osamu thought for a moment, but eventually agreed. An hour later, they met at the entrance to the building and went inside. There were quite a few people there, both boys and girls. Oda didn't waste any time and immediately asked a girl to dance, stepping aside. Osamu, meanwhile, sat silently at the bar, ordering a whiskey. While sipping, he watched the people. Somewhere, Sakunosuke caught his eye. Dazai chuckled, watching his friend as he immersed himself in the evening without even thinking. Yeah, he was getting bored of just sitting there, too. After finishing his glass of alcohol, Osamu glanced around and the first person he spotted was a red-haired guy. He headed toward him. Both were already out of their minds, so they didn't even notice who, how, or why they were with each other. The music, the alcohol, and the rhythm simply carried them both away. Dazai, frankly, had almost forgotten he'd come with his friend.
