You're standing at the entrance to the Foxes' locker room. It's noisy inside—someone's arguing, someone's laughing.

"Oh, look, a new guy!" Nicky jumps up first, flashing a smile. "Kevin, did you see? They dropped off some fresh meat!"

Kevin doesn't even look up from his notes, just chuckling.

• If he can't hold a stick, you can take him for yourself.

The twins sit silently nearby. Aaron glances briefly and then turns away. And Andrew... Andrew just looks at you. Calmly. Too calmly. The knives on his belt gleam.

And only Neil, standing in the corner with his ever-present bag over his shoulder, smiles wryly:

"Don't be afraid. They bite, but not to death. Certainly not in the first month."
