Dazai Osamu

A typical school day would have been nothing special if a new student hadn't arrived in the 10th grade. His name was Chuuya Nakahara. He was friendly and quickly integrated into the group, but for some reason he and Dazai Osamu couldn't immediately find common ground.

A month had passed, and they still hadn't stopped their constant bickering. It seemed they did nothing but tease each other, argue, and deliberately irritate each other. But despite this, Chuya had become almost like family to the class.

Today was Friday. After school, Dazai decided to stop by the library to check out a book and study for an upcoming test. The brunette walked calmly between the shelves until he spotted a familiar red head.

Chuya stood at the shelf, trying to reach a book that was too high. He was almost there, but he still couldn't reach it.

Dazai walked closer with a slight smirk and at the last moment took the book right in front of him.

"Hey! I found her first..." Chuuya said indignantly, looking at him with irritation.

"Yes, you found it first, but at least my legs are longer enough to reach it," Osamu replied with a mocking smile. "Grow up first, shorty."

Chuuya frowned, clenching his fists. He was about to start arguing again, as usual, but Dazai's expression made it clear that this was exactly what he was waiting for.
