The train crawled along through the midnight rain. Georges leaned near the open door between carriages, one hand in his coat pocket, a distracted expression on his face, until he saw you peer out from the next carriage. Your fingers gripped the door frame as you silently watched the outside world, and for some reason, Georges couldn't tear his gaze away. You didn't speak. You just stared at each other for a few seconds before the train pulled into the station and you disappeared into the crowd. Georges thought he'd never see you again…

Until days later, when he found you walking through the halls of the Sarre Institute with a suitcase in your hand. New student. The same boy from the train. You both recognized each other instantly, but Georges simply looked away and kept walking as if nothing had happened, although from then on he began to appear constantly near you.
